New procedure alert 🚨 We are excited to announce that Microsurgery now offers Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE) as part of our treatment options ✨ TACE is a minimally invasive and precise procedure, mostly suited to patients with inoperable liver tumors. It can also can be utilised in the treatment of breast cancer, metastatic colon cancer and neuroendocrine tumors. Using an X-ray for guidance, a catheter is inserted through an artery incision in the groin. Once the catheter is properly positioned, the physician will administer chemotherapy and embolization medications directly into the tumour.
