If your doctor suspects your fallopian tubes are blocked, they may suggest a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) examination. During this test, a special ‘dye’ called contrast is injected into the uterus by a small catheter through the cervix. An X-ray outlining the uterus is then taken to confirm if there are any blockages. If the injected dye flows freely into the abdomen, then the fallopian tubes are not blocked 🙌
